KwaZulu-Natal has started rocking as we head to the Mr Price Pro Ballito. It’s the surf competition for those wanting to qualify for the ASP World Championship Tour in 2015.
With 96 competitors from 18 countries, R2.7 million prize purse – the spectacle will be worth the trip. Williard Beach in Ballito, KwaZulu-Natal South Africa. With the likes of Jordy Smith our very own Pro surfer, this will be the weekend to see some of the world’s touring professional surfers ripping up the waves, surfer or not get there from the 30th June to 6th July 2014 and enjoy the vibe.
It’s not only about the surfing; there will be BMX, street running, skate board comp, Monster activations and a graffiti wall for all to add their tag. As always the bathing area (yes it’s Ballito, you can still swim) will have beach soccer and volleyball, fashion shows, Miss beach Mania, dance displays and of course Kids stuff like face painting, water balls, sand castle building, kiddies beach dash, and kiddies corner. This is a full day full week event with daily live entertainment, food court, cider garden, arts & crafts, exhibitions and retail stalls for all the cool surfing gear.
