Cape Town stadium gets football all the way from Britain and Portugal! Yes Ajax Cape Town are hosting Crystal Palace, Sporting Clube de Portugal and SuperSport United for the Cape Town Cup in conjunction with the City of cape town.
With the hope of growing this football tournament the 4 teams will take the field in the Cape Town Stadium in Green Point, on the Friday 24th July at 17:45 with English Premier League Crystal palace taking on Supersport united. At 20:15 Ajax Cape town will try-out muster Sporting Clube de Portugal in a football spectacle to see which team end up in the final show down on Sunday 26 July. At 13:00 the playoff between 3rd and 4th and the final to start at 15:30.
